I'm an enthusiastic, motivated individual who loves Chamber life and helping the community and business grow to the next level. I have had Chamber experience with both large and small chambers along with rural and city chambers. Each community has its charm and my passion is showcasing the charm and businesses. I have worked in the financial sector of industry and see the Chamber world from the member side as well as an employee.
Since 2004, Tiffany Menke, IOM, has been the President of the Urbandale Chamber of Commerce. Currently she also serves as the Past-Chair for the Iowa Chamber of Commerce Executives and represents the business community as a liaison to the Urbandale Community Action Network (UCAN). She grew up in Newton and went on to Grand View University in Des Moines where she holds a degree in Mass Communications, Journalism and a minor in Photography.
I have over 25 years of professional experience in leadership, marketing, development, and public relations as well as non-profit management. I am a natural "connector"? thoroughly enjoying networking and building strategic alliances and strong relationships both outside and within any business or organization. I thrive working with successful teams and boards, love marketing and PR, and can manage projects from planning to a successful completion. I am a creative problem solver with strong presentation and public speaking skills. My wife and I relocated to Central Iowa in 2009 from Northern California to be close to family in the Mid-west. I was Executive Director of the Newton Chamber of Commerce before accepting the ED poistion at the Des Moines West Side.
I have a Bachelor’s Degree with Dual Concentration Business Management/Accounting from Kaplin University and 10 years of tax experience. Voluntary Work Experiences 2016-2018 Board Member for following organizations. YWCA- Young Women's Christian Association Fort Dodge, Iowa. Vincent House – Fort Dodge, Iowa.
