About Us

The Spencer Chamber of Commerce has been in existence since 1890; while its name and general mission have remained, we've adapted with the times to meet the needs of our members.

Spencer boasts a robust business community from multi-generational family-owned businesses to new small businesses and manufacturing. Small, medium, and large businesses — we represent them all.

The Chamber hosts events for networking and community gathering. We aim to develop and educate the future community leaders with programs like Spencer Young Professionals and the Clay County Leadership Institute. We work to retain and build our business community and understand what we can expand on toward their future business demands. The Chamber doors are always open to its members and the residents of Spencer; all suggestions for prospective trends and objectives are welcomed.
